This study explores the fundamental challenge of revelation denial in contemporary Islamic discourse—a view that dismisses the possibility of legislative communication between God and man, and instead sees revelation as a mere human experience. Such a stance clearly conflicts with Islamic doctrinal foundations.
Adopting a descriptive-analytical method, the research focuses on Tafsir al-Tasnīm by Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, aiming to uncover his rational strategies in confronting revelation-denying perspectives.
Findings reveal that by employing a system of rational and scriptural arguments—including conceptual clarification, affirmative and negative reasoning, analogical examples, contextual analysis (sha'n al-nuzūl), and ethical reasoning—he constructs a cohesive framework to counter these doubts. This underscores Tasnīm’s capacity to offer robust theological responses to modern challenges and paves the way for advancing practical thematic exegesis with a focus on contemporary skepticism.
