The term "secular science" and its opposite, "religious science" have been the focus of elite discussions in recent decades, and much has been said about describing science as secular. There has been talk of secular science among Islamic thinkers, but their statements have not mentioned the foundations of modern science and its relationship with secularism. How the foundations of secular thinking and secularism as a worldview affect science and how secular science is produced have not been accurately expressed in the works of Islamic thinkers. The purpose of this research, which was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method, is to examine the role of the foundations of secularism in the production of secular science, and its finding shows that worldview and thinking play a role in the production of science and, therefore, the claim supporting secular science can be defended. In this article, by stating the meaning of secular science, seven intellectual foundations of secular science have been analyzed and examined, and an attempt has been made to explain the relationship between secularism and secular science.
