The what of the relation between the divine essence and attributes has always been a matter of dispute and debate in the history of human and Islamic thought, and various views have been formed about it. The view generally attributed to philosophers, mystics, Imamiyyah and Mu'tazilah theologians is that there is no additional attribute to the divine essence. The view attributed to the Ash'arites is additionality of divine attributes. The problems with the union of the divine essence with attributes have been expressed mainly by the Ash'arites and have been met with responses from Islamic thinkers. Transcendental wisdom claims that other schools of thought are unable to respond to these problems. The theologians of Transcendental Wisdom have responded to these problems by adopting the basis of gradationality of existence, explaining the types of predication, and presenting different criteria for how to abstract and realize concepts, and have made a successful effort in this direction. Our method in this article is library research and investigation along with rational analysis of the research findings. Keywords: Divine Essence, Divine Attributes, Union, Additionality, Simplicity, Predication.
